I hope, I’ll find an answer on my question here.
I was unemployed last year and was actively looking for a job. This search for work has caused certain costs. Does anybody know, if I can claim the deduction of these costs?

If you were unemployed, but you did receive unemployment benefits from the state, you can deduct your expenses as a part of work-related costs.
If you didn’t receive any benefits and therefore you don’t need to declare any income, you cannot claim any work-related deductions.
