Can I deduct school fees?

Hello everyone

Recently I’ve started filling in my tax return. I am married and have one child. He started attending school in 2018. Surprisingly, I cannot find an appropriate field in the tax forms. Can someone help?

Unfortunately, you can’t deduct school fees for your child. The tax office considers these fees as living expenses, which are always not tax-deductible. However, you’re entitled to child deduction as well as additional insurance deduction. The idea is that child deduction covers any school fees.
