Hey guys!

I am currently working with the annual accounts of AG and there was capital increase made during this year.
My question is: “How do I book the capital increase with AG?”
The new capital in HR is 500,000 (previously was 450,000) but 1,400,000 was paid in.
Now, I suddenly don't know what to do. I book 50,000 on share capital (Stock Capital). However, what do I do with the rest payment that was made into the bank account (via Pari)? What is the booking record?

Thank you in advance

    Hello @Hotchen

I would book the rest 1'350'000 on the statutory capital reserves. However someone might have other opinion.

    Best regards

      Hi Hotchen

The first thing I would do is to clarify the source of capital or basically who paid it. Then 1,350 000 could be booked as a deposit in capital reserves (KER). It could be registered with the annual financial statements and the GV protocol together with capital increase documents including ESTV form 170.
So, the KER can be later freely paid out to VST again, whereas normal reserves would otherwise have to be paid out later with VST using a normal dividend.
