Can anyone please explain how the new system of short-time work submission works? Since September there have been waiting days (Karenztag), and I don't quite understand how to count correctly.
I counted according to the instructions, namely:

Submitted salary / working days (22 in September) * 80%.

However, in the short-time work form there is another waiting day value, which differs from what I calculated (it is lower).
Could anyone explain to me how it works?

    I assume that the company has more than one employee and not all of them need to submit short-time work.
    If yes, then you need to divide your value by the total number of employees and multiply by the number of employees, for whom the short-time work form needs be submitted.
