Dear All,
I am dealing with a company which had to close it's only shop because of the Covid-19 situation. The partners don'´t want to dissolve the company but park it for at least for one year to see what will happen after this Covid-19 situation ends.
Right now the firm has evicted the only adress (the shop) and as of 01.01.2021 they don'´t have an active post adress in Switzerland.
I would like to ask; what procedures must I follow to have an at least P.O.Box adress for this company and how should I inform the register about inactivation of this firm. And is there any additional steps I should take to make this company an inactive GmbH?

As far as I know there is no official definition of "inactive" GmbH. Of course you can reduce most of activities and expencies. But you still have to satisfy the minimal requirements for such type of companies. You can "rent" a domicil address by some trustee - it is a typical service that such agency provide. Besides, some of them are specialiced in such problems as foundation and liquidation of comapnies, so they can consult you in more details.
